The building at pl. Łódzki 3 delights with a new elevation
There are many signs that the works on the thermal efficiency improvement of the building at pl. Łódzki 3 are going to finish earlier than expected.
The estimated time for putting the the building (Fig.) into service by the contractor is the end of February 2016. The progress of works is visible with a naked eye. General construction works are already completed. Since the end of December 2015 you can admire the renovated elevation of this five-storey building. Renovation works inside the building are still in progress. Last light spots and energy-saving batteries are being installed. The total cost of refurbishment will be: 3 034 414.52 zloty, including the subsidy from EEA Financial Mechanisms: 2 224 714.00 zloty.
Although this thermal efficiency improvement project is coming to an end, soon another investment starts. The opening of tenders for the thermal efficiency improvement of next 4 buildings has been scheduled for 16th February. The buildings are located at Oczapowskiego 2 and 4, Oczapowskiego 5, pl. Cieszyński 1 and Szrajbera 11.
This project, entitled “Extensive thermal efficiency improvement of 4 teaching and administrative buildings of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn” is also subsidized from the funds of the European Economic Area. The total cost of this investment is 15 361 486.00 zloty, including the amount of subsidy of 11 926 640.00 zloty.
